Experienced CNC Programmer

Haworth Castings is looking to recruit an experienced and energetic CNC programmer for its growing machine shop in Basingstoke.

Job Requirements

The successful candidate will require Hypermill experience and a working knowledge of casting is preferable. Above all they will need to be able to provide turnkey solutions, from writing programmes to proving the parts.

Experienced Foundry Operatives

Haworth Castings is an established UK aluminium sand and gravity-die castings foundry and machining centre based in Romsey, Hampshire. Due to increasing levels of business, we are looking to take on experienced Foundry Operatives to join our friendly, hardworking team. Specifically, we are looking for:

  • Sand Casters

  • Die Casters

  • Fettlers

  • Finishers

  • Moulders

Job Requirements

  • Knowledge of foundry work is essential although training will be provided

  • Willingness to learn new skills

  • Safe operation of machinery/equipment

  • Ability to produce work in accordance with agreed quality standards and procedures

  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team

  • Maintain working environment / equipment to our high standards

Job Type:Full-time, Permanent

Salary:
Competitive salary - Negotiable (depending on industry experience)

Additional pay:Bonus Scheme

Holiday: 25 days per annum

Schedule:

  • Day shift

  • Monday – Friday

Safety & COVID considerations

We run a comprehensive and ongoing training programme to ensure that all staff understand how to work safely and share best practice. All staff wear the appropriate PPE (personal protective equipment) and service on our tools and machinery to ensure that our equipment remains ‘fit for purpose’.

We as a company are doing everything to keep our employees safe during this COVID pandemic. Face masks are worn on premises and surfaces are cleaned regularly, temperatures are checked every day and anyone visiting site is checked and details taken.
